I can see if the parking lights (celis rods) stopped working since those are LEDs and you couldve blown a resistor but the other bulbs would work as long as the I had them and this happened to me at about 75 mph. 2009 Bmw Right Rear Turn Signal Malfunction I have exactly the same problem.
None of the text or arrows in the illustration below have to do with the LCM...but the "finned" LCM can obviously be seen in the passenger side kick panel in the Customer Question '89 E30IX. In my opinion they just can't make led lights that work, period. Strangely enough, the blinker was still out on the passenger side.

You will need to tale the plastic part off to get to it. Bmw E90 Turn Signal Problem Mine works one week and doesn't work another. I have replaced the right turn assembly and the problem is still there.

I moved the good one to the bad side. So if the socket is the problem (which it seems like it is, but please correct me if I'm wrong), how would I go about replacing it? Did you disconnect the wiring harness that connects to the bulb carrier or did you remove the tail light bulb only? So please let us know if you have a solution!

Remove these clean the connections and replace. I stopped using the right side blinker all together.
