The KVM is a Belkin OmniView Pro 3. Yes, this is veryweird and havenot changedany of the existing connections since last time when thiswas working perfectly (just installed some programs and added some printers in the last day). Connected through a Powered USB Hub Directly connecting the mouse to the computer (in my case a Dell OptiPlex 7010) the issue is not present. Now it won't detect it... In order to sharing more "smart" USB devices (such as Multi-touch touch-screen display, gaming mouse/keyboard, Wacom tablets or other tablets ...etc.), Windows 7 requests and checks the USB connection status frequently.
With a MS mouse, however, the Belkin worked just fine...strange.
