This one I have used a few months & the pod holder cracked. Worked great until Oct. I've never had any trouble with it. But then once I learned how to use it I liked it.

I guese I will have to go back to the drip cofee pots! I exchanged my Philips Senseo after it just stop working after a month, returned it for a new one and that one died within a week. Be polite. It is a total waste of money!!

I have only had it a few months and am having the same problem - nothing but blinking lights! Cracked pod, tepid water spewing everywhere, sharo edges on the drip try.....JUNK! His first one and the replacement you sent him. The side handle is made like garbage.
Posted by: mathprof at December 4, 2005 7:30 PM I have had the Home cafe HCC100 for a year. The heater does not come on to pull the water thru to make the coffee. SO I NOW HAVE A COFFEE MAKER AS A PAPER WEIGHT. I can't even get the thing to work, right out of the box.
The system will also brew tea pods from Lipton tea and other manufacturers. You may have to plug and unplug the unit a few times and get out any excess water before getting the system primed and running again. Cover may not be correctly placed on carafe. I will just throw the damn thing away and never buy any Black & Decker product again.

Today, it brewed about a third of a cup and just stopped going at all. I really want one that will make a full mug but it must be hot. That wouldn't be awful except getting the folder to snug into the coffee maker is problematic every time we used it. It tastes like a swimming pool toy, it's so plastic.

We won't bother going through the same ordeal to have it replaced this time as it is obviously a defect in its design. cleaning but it only works for 10 seconds, then shuts off.
