This immediately solved my problem. I had replaced the battery, but it didn't help. I wonder if the USB plug from the keyboard and the socket on the computer get worn and the unused plugs on the extension make better contact. Plug the Nano Receiver at the bottom of your mouse into an available USB port on your computer. Check This Out
