i am now increadably frustrated and wondering wtf this is happening!!! I opened the "NETWORK AND SHARING CENTER" and click the "CHANGE ADAPTER SETTINGS", the Belkin wireless adapter is disabled and had tried enabling it but still it is disable. I will check the specs again on the computer. Once all have been uninstalled reboot the computer and Windows will reinstall your USB root hubs. Checked again but still the same problem before, Disabled and tried enabling but to no success.

I just let it search on the internet for the driver and it installed a later copy of the RT2500.sys file than that on the CD.I cannot explain why trying to You may have to reboot after doing this. Typically, your adapter model starts with F5D, F6D or F7D. I couldn't look up updates for the drivers because I have no internet. So the USB seems to detect everything I put in it, but just refuses to let me access the files in it. Also the customer support guy said that it should work with the operating system and the compuer I have.
